A comfort zone is where we feel the most comfortable being ourselves and doing the things we feel we are good at. We are often happy to complete tasks that fall in our comfort zone as we are confident we can complete them well.
Maybe affiliate marketing is your thing. Maybe you’re very good at it. You may even be making a very good income from it, but are you sure that you are doing the best you can? Could you earn more by learning about marketing using a different method?
Of course you might earn much more money by mastering the art of joint ventures, and creating several profitable partnerships. In all probability this is something that would be outside your comfort zone and so you will need to expand your zone a little, which is a slightly uncomfortable process.
Perhaps you’ve thought about using Google Adwords but have baulked at the idea of risking your hard earned cash on a potentially risky marketing strategy. This is normal but you shouldn’t let it hold you back. If you never attempt new things, accepting the risk of failure and still cautiously continuing, then you will never truly succeed.
All you have to do is gather the information that you need and then go for it! I am not advising you to fly blind. You should do your homework before you try to launch a promotional campaign using Google Adwords.
You might benefit from writing a couple of eBooks about the products and services you offer and then distributing them for free across the web. Submit them to multiple article directory websites and eBook repositories.
Do you feel that this is outside your comfort zone? Yes? There are ways to ease the growth process. If you aren’t a very good writer, or if English isn’t your first language then you can hire a ghost writer to write your products for you.
A Blog might increase traffic on your website but you may be hesitant about adding one just because it is a new idea for you.
Stop procrastinating and get on with it. You can increase your income exponentially as you increase your comfort zone by learning new techniques, marking you out as one of those people most likely to succeed.
