Magical Thai Islands
When people think about getting away from it all most people think about going to a deserted island. A tropical island set in clear water with the temperature off a warm bath. You can just imagine it now the coconut trees singing and dancing in the breeze. Where can you find such a paradise? You need to look no further than Thailand. For Thailand has many islands that will meet the requirements of your dreams.
Take Phuket, for example. The Andaman Sea is the setting for the gorgeous Thai island of Phuket. But do not let the sea take all your time for the island is a wonderland place for you to explore as well. The rain forest in Khao Phra Thaw Royal Wildlife Reserve is one place you will definitely not want to miss.
Visit the rain forest and go for a trek amongst the wildlife and visit many all the splendid waterfalls. If you don’t feel energetic then why not take a cruise to the fantastic bay of Phang Nga. The bay is best known for the James Bond Island as well as a number on a fascinating caves.
You could always visit the popular Koh Samui. Tourisim is the main income of the island so it can become quite busy. The beaches all well famous it’s long perfect sands which attract many visitors Chaweng beach in particular has a reputation as something of a hangout for an international party crowd.
If you want to experience a full moon party then visit Koh Phangan at Had Rin beach. This is a beach at the southern end of the island. Deer wander the island and the outdoor activities are numerous. The scuba diving, bird watching and skin diving are only rivalled by the hikes you may take and the scenery of the jungles.
Koh Kood is the fourth largest insland and is not far from the Cambodian border. The majority of the island is rain forest which extends over about 70% of the area. The coastal areas have more development than the rest of the island. Most of the resorts here use solar energy for the generation of their electricity. This island is has beautiful water falls and mangrove forests. Do not forget to check out the coral reefs while you are here as well. The scuba diving is fantastic.
