Come rediscver what makes Mystic Seaport so special. Join us for exciting demonstrations and activities for all ages, including a treasure hunt for kids. Special admission rate of $14.75 for adults makes it even easier to reconnect to Mystic Seaport.

Lobsterfest
Crack for your claw of the summer over Memorial Day weekend. Lobster dinners are sold under Mystic Seaport's open-air boat shed on the banks of the Mystic River.

Small Craft Weekend
Mess around in a small boat. Enthisiasts gather for the 28th year in a row as every type of small boat imaginable bobs and weavs along Mystic Seaport's waterfront.

Sea Music Festival
Bellow under billowing sails and experience the music of America and the Sea. Experience New England's quintessential folk music festival where world famous musicians perform from the decks of tall ships and in formal concert.

WoodenBoat Show
WoodenBoat Magazine holds its annual namesake show at Mystic Seaport. See more than 100 wooden boats of various design — ranging from 10 t 100 feet in length, from newly-launched to nearly a century of age — in addition to the Museums unparalleled collection of vessels. Visit more than 125 displays of small boats, tools, hardware and accessories, coating and adhesives, wood supplies, plans and publications ship models and maritime museums and schools. Independence Day
Discover the spirit of independence by taking part in a 1870's Fourth of July. There are patriotic ceremonies, a lively children's Parade, an amusing cast of "Antiques & Horribles" and an old-fashioned spelling bee for children.

Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous
See a festive gathering of restored wooden power and sailboats all built before 1952. These beautiful craft and their costumed crews parade down river midday on sunday.

Melville Marathon
Read the classic novel on board the classic ship. Enthusiasts gather to commemorate Herman Melville's birthday with a 24-hour reading of Moby Dick on board the last surviving wooden whaling ship int he world, Charles W. Morgan.

A Taste of History
Revel in the sweetness of summer as this annual celebration of 19th-century foods goes "very berry" and uses rgional fresh fruits to create luscius pies, cakes, ice cream and other century-old treats. Food is sold to yyou by a costumed vendor at an open-air market on the village green.

Antique Marine Engine Exposition
Hear the hum and see the steam as collectors from across the US and Canada demonstrate "the power for a new century." The transition from sail to engine power is brought to life through a dazzling display of antique marine engines.

Chowderfest
Taste the difference. Clear or creamy, clam or corn, chowder is better when it's served against the scenic water views and spectacular New England foliage. Food is sold under Mystic Seaport's open-air boat shed over Columbus Day weekend.

Extend your holiday with family fun. Something for everyone — stroll the grounds, take a wagon ride, play games on the green, enjoy hot cider and festive songs of the sea.

Lantern Light Tours
Step into Christmas past. You may find yourself riding in a horse-drawn omnibus, kicking up your heels with revelers in the tavern or spying on silver haired St. Nick. Community Carol Sing
Life up your voice in song to celebrate the season. Museum admission is free when you bring a canned good to be donated to a local charity. A brass quartet and the Mystic Seaport carolers lead an afternoon of joyous musical cheer.

Kids After Christmas
