Built by General Motors
The powers to be decided to take down the wires on the New York Division.
The FL-9 was built so that we could run to South Mount Vernon NY using the deisel
and then lower the shoes and go into Grand Central using third rail power (660 volts DC).
Now the powers to be are putting up the wires all the way to Boston.
